How to Shop Local While Social Distancing

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, small businesses are taking a huge financial hit, with retail and hospitality being amongst the worst affected. But did you know that many businesses are coming up with different ways to meet their customers’ needs during this challenging time? From restaurants to retail stores to fitness classes, many businesses are ramping up delivery offerings. Escarpment believes we can all make a difference and help support our local independent businesses.

How can we help?
  1. Buy a gift card – Purchasing gift cards is a manifestation of customer loyalty, as every purchase made is a guarantee of future visit.
  2. Leave a review – If you were happy with the service or product you received from the business, let them and others know about it!
  3. Shop local – We’ve compiled a list of local businesses in our area that are offering their services during the pandemic. Check back often as this list will be updated daily!
