Escarpment Magazine Fall 2012

Thank you so much for your continuous support and the full page article in your
Summer issue displaying the Festival Program. We all collapsed on July 15, the last
day of the fest and we are still keeping low profile coping with all the work around
the house that could not be done for the last couple of months. We are all, however,
so proud and happy that the entire festival went without a glitch. If you are ever on
Grey Road #2 just south of Feversham drop in at the Methodist Cemetery. It is lo-
cated at the intersection of Grey Road #2 and John Street, right across the parking
lot of the Beaver River Gorge. The cemetery looks finally taken care of with a new
fence, new sign, and a beautiful rock monument with a plaque. The fence and the
rock monument have been donated by local businesses, Maxwell Farm Supply and
Maxwell Landscaping respectively. The installation of the fence was completed by
community volunteers.

Just enjoying my time in Collingwood as a seasonal (visitor) and
loving it. Picked up my first edition (of Escarpment Magazine) and
loved your beautiful cover and mini stories as well as your pages
on Escarpment EPICURE. Always looking for a place to dine out.
Thanks for sharing your best picks.

I was very pleased to see the arcticle about the
Georgian Bay Trillium Circuit. The lower picture on
page 22 is incorrectly identified. The correct name is
Lily McDermid riding her pony Vanilla Smoothie.

I just want to compliment
you and your team on
an outstanding job high-
lighting the wine and
cheese pairings. The
photography is stunning! I loved the placement of the
cheeses and knives on the artisan cutting boards. The wine
works perfectly and the pairings are wonderful. Many thanks
for including The Cheese Gallery in Summer 2012.

As new residents of the Mulmur Hills near
Creemore our family members have found
your magazine to be a wonderful source
of information about the area. We enjoy
the mix of features on the local flora and
fauna (the recent article on "Tracking the
Coyote" was especially interesting to us - we
can hear the yips and howls around us at
dusk). As we settle in to our new country
place, your advertisements of products and
services also help us to shop locally and in-
form us about upcoming events. Thanks for
producing such a comprehensive magazine.
