Coffin Ridge - 2010 RESURRECTION ROSÉ
--
The nose reminds me of Cherries, and
lots of Strawberries…so does the Palate-
Delicious! Summer Time!
I think that Rosé goes with just about
everything. Try with prosciutto rolled in
arugula leaves with black pepper and
extra virgin olive oil with a shave of
Parmigiano Reggiano.
You can't miss with garlic - even roasted
whole - and drizzled with extra virgin
olive oil and a tiny bit of blue cheese –
Drooling yet?
You can take a great drive to Coffin
Ridge and sit on the patio. It is absolutely
one of the most breathtaking views in the
area. Treat yourself to some cheese
plates on their beautiful patio. The per-
fect Summer experience or any time for
that matter. I love it out there.
Coffin Ridge Resurrection Rose sells for
about $17.80 Worth every penny not
to mention the drive!!
Southbrook Vineyards - 2010 Connect Rosé
VQACertified Organic - $18.95

A fragrant nose of strawberry/rhubarb
pie, fresh red raspberry, orange zest .
Amazing acidity and beautiful fresh fin-
ish. I tried this in Niagara and couldn’t
get enough!!! Sold out at the Winery.
Available at the LCBO.
Pinot Noir
- Willamette Valley, Ore-
gon -
When I think about Pinot Noir I tend
to go straight over to Oregon where in
my mind they do Pinot Noir very well.
Burgundian Pinot Noirs are also world
renowned and are the sole red wine
grape of Burgundy.
In my experience, Willamette Valley is
a midpoint between light bodied Pinots
of Burgundy and bigger bodied Aus-
tralian Pinots. Oregon Pinots offer a
medium ruby red with a perfume of
cedar, spice box, strawberry cherry,
and raspberry. It conceals enough ripe
tannin to evolve for a year or two, but
usually most wines at the LCBO are
“drink now”— nice. Perfect with grilled
salmon.
Consider,
Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir
from
Oregon - typically an LCBO product but
they have several others as well.
