Because of her busy lifestyle as Curator of the Craigleith Heritage Depot,
and mother of two, Suzanne was needing a simple style to manage on a
daily basis, and not be a slave to colour retouches. She had a natural
streak at the front soMarion worked with that leaving it exposed so there
would be no roots. Marion also colour treated her already colour faded
hair using the Goldwell Colorance line (a semi-permanent colour, with
conditioning properties) to a natural dark tone that covers more grey so
the regrowth would blend in naturally. Keeping her hair on the long side,
it was spiced up with a soft fringe and layers so Suzanne is able to either
tie it back in sportier moods or do a simple blow dry for a cleaner and
more professional look. The slight, natural wave in Suzanne’s
hair will also enable her to diffuse it for a full natural curl
when the weekend parties come up!
For Suzanne, makeup was a foreign language. So Kasey
showed her a few simple ways to easily add to her natural
beauty and bring out her best features. First of all, using
Aveda Moisturizer plus Tint to even out her skin tone, and
protect the skin with an SPF 15 (very important, even in the
winter months.) “Then once we cleaned up her eyebrows
for a more defined and natural shape we could really
focus on her gorgeous twinkling eyes! Her main concern was that
her eyelids are small... but you can still work with that — by using light and brighter
shades of purples it really opened up her eyes and face. Aveda makeup makes it so
simple with the eye shadow trios. Three different shades, is all you need.” says
Kasey. Purple tones are quite popular in makeup this season — it’s a perfectly light
and natural look with her brown eyes and hair. Keeping with the theme, this sea-
son’s new lip colour "oyster pink" was applied and the transformation was finished
with a sunkissed bronzer on her cheek
bones — creating some shape and shadow
to the face without looking caked on.
Suzanne is absolutely thrilled with her easy,
new look!
