swimming ponds
Each of these ponds pretty much runs itself thanks to
careful planning specifically designed so people
can swim in clean, pure water with absolutely no
chemicals. A swimpond is generally comprised of a
deep, central swimming area surrounded by a shal-
lower area containing plants which are specially
chosen to purify the water. A traditional swimming
pool uses chemicals such as chlorine to kill bacteria
whereas a swimpond cleanses the water naturally.
It uses the natural purifying properties and ecologi-
cal principles of plants utilizing the biological clean-
ing power sometimes assisted with filter technology
to provide natural, chemical-free clear water.
