isgood intheory,butwhat ifthesituationyouface isaburningbuild-
ing,andyouhave torescueachild inside?Knowingwhat toexpect
might help,but ifyou’veneverdone itbeforeyoudon’t know just
howdifficult itwill beorhowyouwill react. That’swhere training
comes in. If you can train ina safeenvironment that simulates the
perilsyoumayencounter, youwill bemuchmorepreparedand
less likely topanic. That is the theorybehind theMeafordFireDe-
partment’snew trainingcenter.
