TheBeaver Valley
puts on quite a show in the autumn. As the
last of the summer harvest is gathered, and bales of straw sit waiting to be col-
lected, a wave of colour slowly washes over the landscape. The smell of fresh
baking fills the air in the hamlets of Eugenia, Kimberley and Heathcote. Outdoor
activities abound as people paddle the river, cycle the roads and hike through
the forests that line the valley walls. The Bruce Trail skirts both edges of the
Beaver Valleywithmany side trails and outlooks along theway. One of themost
spectacular vantage points to view the Beaver Valley sits atop “Old Baldy”
