Dapple Gray...
Owner
Kristy Lake grew up riding horses in the Southern
Georgian Bay region, and like many of us, she migrated west,
only to be drawn back to our area armed with retail marketing
and purchasing experience she acquired while working for a
sales agency in Vancouver. Kristy’s passion for horses, coupled
with her observation that our area was lacking in quality eques-
trian products caused her to investigate opening a shop of her
own. In a short period of time, Kristy formed a business plan,
secured a space in the Cranberry Mews, and began frequenting trade shows and pur-
chasing stock. “Dapple Gray”, (Kristy’s favourite colour of horse) opened its doors on
April 1
st
.
Dapple Gray carries medium to high end products such as Antares, Sheval, Hayward,
Asmar Equestrian, Rebecca Ray, Ogilvy and more. Customer service is Kristy’s highest
priority, and she has secured exclusivity on many sought after brands, which means no
other store in the region can carry the same lines. Dapple Gray supports local artists
and craftsmen, selling unique items from horse flip flops to equestrian inspired wall art
and jewelry. Look for the Dapple Gray mobile unit on location at select horse shows
and purchase products on the spot!

Season
Leone knows her way around a kitchen! A self-taught foodie guru, Season
turned her love of great food into a catering business, Culinary Designs, which has
always prided itself on delivering wonderful food and exceptional service both in
the catering aspect and in personal meal planning. Her love of food comes from
her Italian parents from whom she learned to appreciate the difference quality in-
gredients make. Now, Season and her talented team are bringing all their delicious
