Creemore Springs Brewery
and the village of Creemore
celebrate all things local this Summer team up with the Creemore 100
Mile Store to bring you the very best of the season and the region.
Some things are meant to be together especially when Creemore Springs
Premium Lager cosies up to warm, freshly baked pretzels from Haisai.
Lager is made the world over, but from the start, we fire-brewed our flag-
ship beer to be unique. It offers a delicious, textured, lightly nutty body
and a brilliant copper colour. Haisai Restaurant & Bakery aims to source
and serve dishes using organic produce, offering several varieties of
home-made breads, pastries and preserves. The pretzels are their latest
offering, baked in their wood-fired oven.
Try an interesting beer cocktail for a fun change to your après! Simply
pour a splash (about an ounce) of Meredith’s Ginger SyrupWinter Brew
into a glass. Add a 473ml can (about 16 ounces) of Creemore Springs
Traditional Pilsner and serve. We brew our pilsner the traditional way,
but with our own spring water, special pale malt and a lot of hops. Their
version imparts a flowery, spicy aroma balanced by sweet rich malt
flavours and a crisp bitter finish. We don’t think it needs a thing, but
Meredith’s Ginger Syrup adds a fresh twist to this classic style.
Kellerbier is an unfiltered, medieval German beer known for its naturally
cloudy appearance. Served straight from the brewmaster’s cellar, it was
a true honour for special guests visiting a brewery to be offered a taste.
We introduced our version in 2009 as a seasonal release, and these
days we happily make Kellerbier available to one and all. Perfect for
spring, Spiced Nuts by Cafe Chartreuse are the right mix of spice and
crunch to compliment the citrus and spicy undertones of the Kellerbier.
Bock beer was first brewed inMunich back in 1612 by DukeMaximillian
I, who had hired a brew master to create a Northern style lager to win
back the local aristocrats. Inspired by his entrepreneurial spirit Creemore
Springs brews their very own urBock, which has become our special win-
ter brew, offering a rich, full flavoured dark beer. It’s an aristocratic beer
but rest assured-you needn’t be a Duke to enjoy it. And, for a truly noble
match – pair with anything chocolate – but the ultimate finish to any meal
is urBock with Odile Chocolat.
We invite you to visit us in Creemore and be sure to ask for more recipes
and ideas in order to help you create your own locally inspired pairings!
Cheers & enjoy
