YachtClub locatedat ThornburyHarbour. This fundraiserbrings togetherbothvolunteer host
skipperswith their sail andpowerboatsandguests forawonderful summerafternoon. The
proceeds fromSail forHopearedonated to theCanadianCancerSociety—Townof theBlue
MountainsBranch.Over the last 8years, theevent has raisedover$100,000 for the region.
Theevent starts at 1pm, the fleet leaves tocruiseSouthernGeorgianBay.Guests
will enjoyviewsof themany sail andpowerboats that dot thesewaterseachweekend; enjoy
seeingThornbury, thebeautiful shorelineand thenaturalmagnificenceof theEscarpment from
adifferent perspective.
Returning to theHarbouraround4o’clock, guests, skippersand their crewsare
invited toenjoya silent auction,musicand takepart inother fun fundraisingactivities. This is
followedbyour signature foodexperience—Tasteof Thornburywhere several local
restaurants that partnerwith theThornburyYachtClubwill haveboothsandoffera tastingof
their signaturedishes.
