Escarpment Magazine Summer 2013
12
What a shock and disappointment today as I reached for the new Escarpment
magazine- looking forward to the articles and of course toMarketWatch. I took
the book to my favourite cafe and was all set to learn about those great things
happening in the area. Then - the shock. In the placewhereAntheaWhite’sMar-
ketWatch column resided for somany years was a remembrance instead of that
comprehensive report I was so used to reading. I will miss it and her. My heart
goes out to her family at this difficult time. She won't ever be forgotten.

What a treat to sit at my desk with the spring sun shining in and your Forsythia
jumping off the cover — it’s beautiful. I have your publication mailed to my
home and each time, I can't wait for the weekend to come again so we can
get back to Collingwood. It is a wonderful resource for ideas, shopping,
trades—everything we need and want! Thank you Escarpment!

Congratulations on 25 years! We have seen the magazine
grow since our son moved to Collingwood in 2000.

Thanks for running TomHakala's story about Meaford Community
Theatre - it captured the growth of our amateur troupe well.
We just completed our production, The Whole Town's Talking,
staged at Meaford Hall and were very pleased with the response
from audiences.
