There are a few things to take into consideration before buying a board,
throwing a board onto the Bay to go SUP, and being on the water. If
you want to buy a board, go to a reputable dealer, or store and know
the history of the board and its maker. Used rental boards are a great
deal, but as in all things, you get what you pay for. Google is an easy
way to research the board and brand you are looking for. You’ll also
need to think about height, weight, ability and what do you want to use
the board for? Do you want stable or racing? Who else will use the
board? You will also need a paddle, leash, lifejacket, and likely other
accessories. Waterproof iPhone case, anyone?
