AbbyWhitton feels lucky tobe living in the Escarpment region.With
herhusbandScottand their twoyoungboys, theyembraceeverything

ily.” saysAbby. In theWinters,Abby is theSnowSchool administrator
at DevilsGlenCountryClub, and time is at apremium. Summers are
crazybusyaswell. So, likemost youngMoms on thego, shedoesn’t
want to fussmuch.Colouringher hairmeantmakingacommittment to
gettingher regrowth touchedupeverysixweeks. Onceshemade that
decision,Angelaproceeded toworkhermagic.
“Her long, extremely thickgrey locks had togo!” statesAngela. “The
cut left enough length for her to tieher hair backwhen she is skiing, or
workingout, but it’s somuchmoremodern, andyouthful looking. We
addeda lotofmid length face framing layers. Withherhairbeingnat-
urallycurly, creating texturewasamust! Deeppoint cutting thoughher
hair thinnned itwithout everallowing it tobecomeunmanagable, and
will allow thecurls tobounceeliminating the ‘triangle’ effect.”
“As for my favorite part, colouring,”Angela continues, “It startswith
Abby'sbeautiful greeneyeswith flecksof goldandcopper, aswell as
her skin tone.”Angela selectedadeep chocolatehue, with just ahint
of chestnut tomakeAbby’s eyes evenmore prominent. To eliminate
heavy maintenance, cinnamon highlights were weaved and sliced
thinly throughoutherwholehead,underneathherpart tocatch the light,
without takingover thebase.All of thecolourwasdoneusingnon-am-
moniabasedcolours.Softandnatural,earth-tonedmakeup finishedoff
Abby'smakeoverbeautifully.
