To Tom andEdna, the great room is a continuation of the garden.
Here, some of theBurri’s favourite pieces are displayed including the
mosaic pillbox (on the side table beneath the crystal candelabra), which
ismade from smashed artifacts from theMingDynasty. The blue
abstract painting behind couch is entitled "ItalianGarden Taormina"
by Ontario painter Janet Reid. Themobile in the living room and the
sculpture on the outsidewall are both by RichardSturgeon of
London, Ontario and their son-in-law, JohnBarber commissioned the
glass coffee table at the centre of the room.
