Chabliswinesaremade ina style ratherdiffer-
ent from thoseproducedelsewhere inBur-
gundy. Theyaredrierand fresher, rather than
moreweightyand richly flavoured.Unlike typi-
cal Burgundianwhitewines,whicharebarrel
fermented,Chablis isusuallyentirely freeof
anyoak influence.
