Promoting local businesses we offer a wide variety of booths with the greatest in
gardening, landscaping, renovating and home décor. Attendee’s enjoy seminars,
garden displays, activities for the kids and a chance to win the “Big Backyard
Giveaway”. Fun for the whole family!

STRIDE to TURN the TIDE of AIDS in AFRICA
with the Georgian Bay Grannies – Sunday, June 9
Meet at Sunset Point Park, Collingwood. All are welcome to participate in a na-
tional fundraising walk with the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the
Stephen Lewis Foundation in solidarity with the courageous grandmothers of
Africa who are caring for the children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
Registration is $15. Choose your walk of 1 km, 2.5 km or 5 km along Colling-
wood’s beautiful waterfront trail.
Register at 12:30 p.m. Walk starts at 1 p.m. African jewelry will be for sale.

Celebrate the Music!
A Potpourri from Mozart to Les Miserables
Join us for our 40th Anniversary Spring Concert and Gala. Honoured guests will
be founding director Ann Sneyd and past director Velma Cook. Under the direc-
tion of Brian Rae with accompanist Keiko Yoden-Kuepfer, the choir celebrates 40
years of choral music in Collingwood.

"The Sound of Meow-sic"
- a benefit concert for
the Clarksburg Cat Shelter
June 22 at Meaford Hall — Silent Auction at 6 p.m.
and the concert at 7 p.m. The concert features two
wonderful choruses - Shoreline Chorus from Owen
Sound under the direction of Ann-Marie MacDair-
mid - a mixed women's and men's chorus; Harmony
North Chorus from Collingwood under the direction
of Selina Ree - an award winning regional winner
of Sweet Adelines barbershop style; and Bob
Muir's Regal Jazz Band, dixieland style — a spin-off
of the Georgian Sound Big Band. Tickets are
$20.00 (tax included) and can be obtained from
the Meaford Hall Box office, at The Cat's Meow in
Clarksburg, or from members of all three perform-
ing artists groups.
