This Kitchen
needed a total new design and home owner
Joan Liddiard in Thornbury turned to Dean Mills, owner of Premier
Kitchens Ltd. in Collingwood for guidance. Dean became the designer
and general contractor on this project and also arranged for the
removal of the existing kitchen and countertops. The new wall
cabinets are Aya Kitchens Astoria Style, Maple-Vanilla finish and
the island is Astoria, Cocoa Maple - featuring wood dovetail soft-
close drawers and soft-close hinges. The classic molding, posts and orna-
mentation enhances the new kitchen space with a warm old world charm.
The countertops are Cambria, pure natural quartz, Canterbury™ finish. Rigney Electric handled all
the electrical work and Bradley Drywall took care of the walls and ceiling repairs. The Flooring Place
Inc. supplied the backsplash. Premier Kitchens looked after all the appliance installation and plumb-
ing for the sink, taps and dishwasher. “Joan was great to work with,” smiles Dean, “and the kitchen is
now very functional and it looks great too.”
