A careful mix of textures, finishes, and colours allowed the homeowners
to create a sophisticated yet relaxed aesthetic for their classic farm-
house kitchen. Although the original space looked dark and dreary, with
aqua countertops and crampedworkspace, the footprint blendedwell
with the homeowners’ vision for the kitchen. In the end, theywere able
to create a clean-lined space, featuringmodern amenities that work in
harmonywith the home’s rich history.
